They were changing air compressor oil every six months and were experiencing extreme w ear on the unit. The compressor operates two shifts; 4 a.m. to 12 midnight, six days per week. The operating environment for the air compressor is a well-ventilated open room.

The conversion to LE’s 6801 was completed 12-18-91. As of 01-16-96, the Sullair air compressor has over 15,307 hours on the oil, and oil analysis shows that it is still suitable for continued use. The previous drain the specialty grade lubricant was six months (3,120 hours)!
6801 MULTILEC’s versatility has allowed L.S.I. Logic to consolidate air compressor oil inventory to the same product for the Sullair air compressor and for their Gardner-Denver air compressor.
