The local LE lubrication consultant recommended Monolec® R & O Compressor / Turbine Oil (6405). Monolec 6405 is a rust and oxidation inhibited oil for reciprocating and rotary compressors, steam turbo generators, smaller industrial turbines, gears, bearings and circulating systems. It separates readily from water and prevents corrosive wear. It is extremely long lasting and nonfoaming in service.

By using Xamine® (Lubrication Engineers Analysis Program), drain intervals have been extended from six months to 24 months on each of their 48 gear reducers saving hundreds of man-hours on routine oil changes.
