Challenge
Gene Bassett does all of the maintenance on his equipment and keeps meticulous records. He was very concerned with the rate of wear on the pins and bushings of the Cat tractor while he was using a major brand commercial He was experiencing about 2,000 hours on each set of pins and bushings. It would take him a full two days to pound out all the bushings on the bucket and arm and replace them with new bushings and insert new pins.
