LE hired AP Roofing & Specialty Coatings for its annual roof cleaning to ensure energy efficiency and maintain the roof warranty, despite the process being time-consuming.
Mark Montgomery endorses LE’s Greentastic® Industrial Cleaner (2110) for its superior cleaning power with nine active ingredients, outperforming conventional cleaners while being environmentally friendly and versatile for various industrial applications.
AP Roofing effectively restored a roof to pristine white using a 12:1 water to Greentastic ratio, with owner Aaron Parson praising its superior performance and planning to switch to and recommend the cleaner.
This is great stuff; we plan on moving to Greentastic immediately. We have not seen a cleaner work like this and have tried many over the years.
- Aaron Parson, OwnerBased in Kingman, KS, AP Roofing & Specialty Coatings has been in business since 2005. Its mission is to offer competitive roofing and painting prices and exceptional customer service. AP offers sustainable roofs at a competitive price and has skilled employees with years of experience on all kinds of roofs, including shingles, elastomeric roof coatings, modified bitumen, TPO and metal. The company primarily works in the Wichita metro area but as also done work outside of Kansas, including Oklahoma, Missouri, Nebraska, Colorado, Iowa, Arkansas, Texas, and Pennsylvania.
Lubrication Engineers has a TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin) roof. TPO is a single-ply membrane used extensively for roofing since 1989; it is made from a polymerized combination of polypropylene and ethylene-propylene rubber that can be attached to a roof with adhesive or with mechanical fasteners. TPO a low-cost and effective choice for flat and low-slope roofs, and the exposed surface is usually a highly reflective white, which makes TPO especially suitable for hot, sunny climates.
LE hired AP Roofing & Specialty Coatings to perform its annual roof cleaning, which can be a time-consuming process to get the roof as clean as desired. Thorough roof cleaning ensures continued energy efficiency, and it is necessary to maintain the roof warranty.
Mark Montgomery, director of lubrication reliability solutions, recommended LE’s Greentastic® Industrial Cleaner (2110), a powerful liquid concentrate cleaner. Water-based Greentastic contains nine carefully selected and blended active cleaning ingredients – almost twice as many as conventional multipurpose industrial cleaning products. These ingredients work together to provide a robust cleaning solution perfect for many different uses, including oil and grease. Greentastic outperforms many conventional non-caustic industrial cleaners. It is also phosphate- and phosphorous-free, making it a better choice for the environment.
Mixed with water or a solvent, Greentastic Industrial Cleaner works great for cleaning concrete surfaces, degreasing parts, washing trucks and tractors, cleaning food manufacturing equipment, and a variety of other industrial cleaning applications. Mixing ratios and directions are available on the product flyer.
AP Roofing mixed water and Greentastic with a 12:1 ratio – slightly higher than the recommended ratio due to the extent of the dirt and grime on the roof. Using a combination of pressure washer, rotating brushes and brooms, the AP Roofing crew were able to successfully clean the roof, restoring it to a pristine white color. They were extremely impressed with how quickly and thoroughly the cleaner worked compared to other cleaners they have used.
“This is great stuff; we plan on moving to Greentastic immediately,” said Aaron Parson, owner. “We have not seen a cleaner work like this and have tried many over the years. We plan on recommending it to others.” “We have not seen a cleaner work like this and have tried many over the years.”
